Each day you read newspaper, you will read that there are atleast 3-4 cases of murder and committing suicide in the front page. We open our TV and there are cases of suicide and murder. We overlook these news because we read this sort of news evryday in the news. We dont seem to have any much importance for these news and we move on. But this negligence is getting worst. Today on the floor of National Assembly of Pakistan MNA from PML (Q) Mr.Riaz Pirzada gave a remark regarding the increase in the number of suicide in the country. He said "We should'nt interfere in the matters of Allah, every one who came in this world has to die and it does not matter if they die by committing suicide... Media is only creating hype in this situation"
Now the matters of suicide is not a concern for the people we chose an sent in the assemblies to decide the fate of this country and in short the fate of the people of Pakistan. They are not concerned if the people who chose them, live or die as it is a matter of nature to decide. They increase the prices of daily usage items, increase the prices of bread and pulses which was once thought to be the diet for poor, they impose new taxes on the masses and dont pay taxes themselves but rather steal the tax money, they use 70+ cars protocols interms of national security, They try to beat the hell out of a commoner who raises his voice over their protocols due to which there has been deaths in ambulances, inshort they try their best to narrow the option of living for a common man and in the end they say "Yeh Allah ki marzi hay, hum is may kia kar sktay hain"(It is God's will, what can we do).
One should be brave enough to lead from the front. If they call themslves the leaders of the common man they should behave like one, and if they think its Allah's will that commoners commits suicide due to hunger then they should step down from their seats, and leave the country to whom they think its will of, or else the Day will be near when the public will rise against them and will treat them as they treated Arbab Ghulam Raheem on the national assmbley veranda.
Good post..however this is the major problem that people sitting on the posts are only concerned how much they are getting in their pockets legally or illegally. No body really cares what the citizens are going thru. bas tax bhara do, inflation kardo, prices bhara do.. no body wants to take care of the root cause! But lets not give up hope. We have to train our youth to take over and InshaAllah things will change.
ReplyDeleteby the way I like the labels on the end!
ZABARDUST!, remember what Gilani said when a baby was born on the road of Quetta? "Bachay tu kaheen bhi hosakte hain"
ReplyDeleteWhy they can't adopt just a single good habit from our Khalifas? like Hazrat Umer? they used to roam around the city in simple dress and see if all the people have eaten properly, koi bhooka to nahi hai..
But our leaders are so much busy in stuffing themselves so that they don't get broke after getting retired or removed from post.
Allah inhey hidayat de.. ya phir mout.. :) khair yeh tu Allah ki marzi hai na?
These morons ("politicians") don't give a damn about whatever is happening around. They misuse and exploit religion but as always they have failed to impress any of us.
ReplyDelete@ beenish: Thx a lot but we have to stand against them. Its the time because if not then what will we answer our generations to come abt these morons and our role as a pakistani citizen..As for the tags, these are the only words that come in my mind synonymous to politicians
ReplyDelete@ Ayesha: Thx for your comments. They are Muslims by name only as we cant see even a single deed which show them being Muslims(atleast i cnt see any)..lets not go far, they idealize west, right..The Biritsh PM enjoys protocol of only 1 vehicle while these morons enjoy 70+ cars protocols..do u think they will even think of going to public when they can attend some lavish dinner and protocols..No they cant..
@ Shoaib..Thx for the comments..agreed they make fun of the religion, remember fauzia wahabs sttement, and we only criticize facebook for making fun of our religion..These politicians are the real hypocrates and they will face the wrath of the people if they wont get their directions fixed
Arbab Ghulam's incident, what a reminder! And this news today was just horrific in itself. Every time one of our politicians says something along these lines, I wonder it couldn't possibly be any worse than this... and they prove me wrong.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what will make these people realize what true austerity measures are. Don't they look at the simple manner in which heads of state live and travel in many first world countries? It is enough to compare 10 Downing Street with the palace that is our Presidency.
The blame falls on each and every one of us too. Rather than point out the hypocrites in them, we need to point out the hypocrites in our own selves. When change begins from each person's own self, that is the only "change" that is lasting and effective Inshaa'Allah.
“…Verily never will Allah change the condition of a people until they change it themselves (with their own souls)…”
(Qur’an – Surah Ar-Raad, Ayah 11)

Assalamualikum,
ReplyDeleteGreat post. mashAllah but one thing I would like to add in here is these leaders are born and grown from the society. These messages and the state of politicians shows that our society is corrupt. Lets begin with cleaning our neighbours, our society and inshAllah tomorrow's leader will be a better one.
JazakAllah

ReplyDeleteThought well conveyed!
Death is indeed inevitable. But to make suicide an excuse for it is purely erroneous. And words like these coming from a Muslim are absolutely absurd.
Once they come in position, why would they look back on the promises they made? Why would they even bother? Where they are standing is what they dreamt of. The current situation in the country has lead to a greater frustration out in the public therefore suicidal numbers have increased drastically. The corruption has taken the country by tide. The way I see it, what this country needs is a revolutionary leader. It's about time.
It just occurred to me, didn't our own people vote for them? But then again I guess they were pressurized on the tip of the gun to do so.
Asalam o alikum friends,
ReplyDeleteEvery human is a masterpiece. Everyone has job to do in this world but the thing is that not everyone realizes this.
Suicide is haram in Islam no matter what are the circumstances. "God(Allah) gives every bird food but not necessarily in the nest" If you're true with your work at the end of the day you'll inshAllah get your reward.
The main problem with us is that we are doing things which are part of our culture not our religion. We do things the wrong way and then blame the system for it, how silly!!
How to correct it, just one story I read it somewhere:
A man asked a scholar
Man: "I want to change the system what can I do for it"
Scholar: "Shall I tell you the easy way or the hard way"
Man: "Of course the easy way"
Scholar: "Change yourself, can you do this??"
Man: "hmmm I can try"
Scholar: "See that's the hard part"
Great post!
ReplyDeleteI don't know why these politicians want so much money! Why so greedy? What if their families were being affected? They just don't have hearts. May Allah guide them all.
